What does ASTM A234 WPB stand for?
ASTM A234 is a standard specification for steel pipe fittings. It includes carbon and alloy steel materials that can be used for both moderate and high temperature applications. They are made of steel, and they can be made in both a seamless and welded way. Steel Pipe fittings are used to make pressure pipes and pressure vessels. These fittings are made of steel that has been killed, forgings, bars, plates, seamless or HFW (fusion welded) pipe, with filler metal added.
