Incoloy 825 Seamless Tubes are corrosion resistant and help to prevent stress corrosion cracking. Crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, pitting, and other corrosive conditions are all resistant to Incoloy 825 Welded Tubes. Incoloy 825 EFW Tubes are used in air pollution control, chemical, petrochemical, food processing, nuclear, and other corrosion-resistant applications. Incoloy 825 ERW Tubes are a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum, copper, and titanium added to it. Incoloy 825 Round Tubes is a nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids, as well as seawater. Incoloy 825 Square Tubes are identical to Incoloy 800 Tubes but have better water corrosion resistance. Incoloy 825 Electropolish Tubes are resistant to reducing and oxidising acids, stress corrosion cracking, and localised attacks such pitting and crevice corrosion. Sulfuric and phosphoric acids are particularly resistant to Incoloy 825 Instrumentation Tubes. Incoloy 825 High Pressure Tubes have good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking in neutral chloride environments, although not being totally resistant in boiling magnesium chloride. Titanium-stabilized completely austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with copper and molybdenum additives, Incoloy 825 Cold Rolled Coiled Tubes The nickel content of Incoloy 825 Bright Annealed Tubes is sufficient for chloride – ion stress – corrosion cracking resistance.
The addition of these components to an incoloy 825 exhaust heat exchanger would cause changes in the alloy's chemistry as well as its other qualities.
For example, if the alloy is required to demonstrate resistance to chloride ion stress related corrosion cracking, the nickel level in Alloy 825 Tube is sufficient. Furthermore, nickel, in combination with the alloy's molybdenum and copper, gives the Incoloy UNS N08825 Welded Tube exceptional resistance to reducing conditions, such as those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
The alloy's resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion is aided by the molybdenum component in the 825 Inconel Bright Annealed Tube. Inconel 825 Decorative Tube has a high chromium concentration, which makes it resistant to oxidising chemicals including nitric acid, nitrates, and oxidising salt. The titanium addition in 825 Inconel Sanitary Tube, together with the suitable heat treatment, stabilises the metal against intergranular corrosion sensitization.
As a result, material such as Inconel 825 Cold Rolled Coiled Tube, which is supplied under the ASTM B423 specification, must meet the necessary requirements, such as chemical and mechanical specifications. Tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of Inconel 825 Seamless Tube under specified conditions and sizes must also adhere to the requisite mechanical parameters. On the Alloy 825 ERW, tests such as hydrostatic and non-destructive electric are required.
