Hastelloy Sheets and Plates, which Mahavir Metals India trades in and manufactures, are utilised as matching composition filler material for welding the alloy's wrought and cast products. Mahavir Metals India is a manufacturer and a trader of these products. In addition to these applications, Hastelloy Sheets can be welded to dissimilar materials, such as other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys and stainless steels, and they can be clad over welds or used as a weld overlay on steel. Hastelloy Plates, which are further based on nickel and can survive in high-temperature, high-stress situations such as chemical reactors, have excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidising atmospheres up to 1900 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because Hastelloy Plates have excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking, and oxidising atmospheres. Hastelloy Alloy Sheets are one of the few alloys that are resistant to wet chloride gas, solutions of hypochlorite, and solutions of chlorine dioxide. In addition, these sheets have exceptional resistance to strong solutions of oxidising salts, such as ferric and cupric chlorides.
Hastelloy Alloy Plates are not prone to grain boundary precipitation in the as-welded condition, making them suitable for many chemical process applications. Although all of the common methods of welding can be used on Hastelloy Alloy Plates, the oxyacetylene and submerged arc processes should be avoided when the fabricated item is to be used in a corrosion service environment. When it comes to machining, nickel and cobalt base corrosion, temperature, and wear-resistant alloys, like HASTELLOY Coils, are categorised as being moderately difficult to extremely difficult. It is possible to successfully fabricate HASTELLOY Alloy Coils using a variety of methods. The alloy has a tendency to work harden, but this can be avoided with the appropriate precautions. Additionally, the alloy is easily hot and cold formed. Our customers can purchase these Hastelloy sheets, plates, and coils from us in a wide variety of sizes and configurations at the most competitive prices possible.
