Product description
Hastelloy Alloy C276 Fasteners are thought to be the most versatile and resistant fasteners. They have been used in many industrial applications. These are nickel-molybdenum-chromium forged alloy fasteners that work well in a wide range of harsh environments. The presence of molybdenum and chromium makes the nickel alloy steel more resistant to corrosion in crevices and pits. These alloys don't get grain boundary precipitates when they're weld hot. As a bonus, the fasteners can withstand oxidising air up to 1900 F. It is also very resistant to strong solutions, like ferric and cupric chlorides.
When the fasteners are heated, they are quickly quenched. These, too, are worked harden with care and can be hot or cold formed.
