Stainless steel 201 is an austenitic grade of steel known for its non-magnetic properties and excellent resistance to corrosion. It is composed of chromium, iron, manganese, nickel, silicon, nitrogen, and carbon. The density of 201 SS Pipe is 7.86 g/cm3, making it suitable for both low and high temperature environments. These pipes offer exceptional formability and can be welded using standard procedures.

ASTM A269 Tp201 Tubing is specifically designed for sanitary applications and boasts impressive mechanical properties. With a minimum tensile strength of 685 MPa, a minimum yield strength of 292 MPa, and an elastic modulus of 197 GPa, this tubing ensures reliability and performance. On the other hand, ASTM A554 Tp201 Pipe is recommended for ornamental and structural applications where higher strength and tolerance are required.

SS 201 Seamless Tube is one of the strongest grades available and is manufactured through an extrusion process, resulting in a seamless design without welds or seams. This seamless construction enhances its load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for stress-induced systems. UNS S20100 Square Seamless Tube, featuring a square cross-sectional area, is commonly used in manufacturing units for various structural applications.

For those looking for a more cost-effective option, ASTM A312 TP201 Welded Tubing is produced by welding sheets or strips. Although they offer moderate strength, these tubes are cheaper than the seamless ones. UNS S20100 Welded Pipes are durable and commonly used in moderate to low-pressure applications. They are available in sizes ranging from 4mm to 100mm or larger.
